Dysart Regeneration Community Forum

The Forum is a voluntary group of Dysart Community residents organised to express opinions and points of view to the various partner agencies involved in the regeneration of the area (see the About Us page). We are always looking for new members to join the group, so if you are interested in these exciting times for Dysart and have time to spare then please give us a call.

Useful links

• The Dysart Trust - A group of volunteers who watch over Dysart's ancient heritage, sharing responsibility with Fife County Council for ancient buildings like the Tolbooth and St Serf's Tower. New members are welcome.
• Fife Coast and Countryside Trust - An environmental charity that manages, develops and promotes the biodiversity and countryside of Fife and the Fife Coastal Path. The FCCT have their headquarters at Dysart's Harbourmaster's House.
• Dysart Colliery Silver Band - Our band celebrates 130 years of history this year and has had a lot of recent success in competitions. If you would like to get involved, or would like the band to come and perform for you, then please contact them though this link.
• Kirkcaldy Art Club - A local group where you can perfect your techniques in painting, pottery and crafts. Tuition is available in painting and pottery. Please contact them through this link.
• Saut Burgh Highland Dancers - Mondays (term time), 5 pm-7pm at Dysart Community Hall, West Port, Dysart, KY1 2TD. All ages welcome. Come along for fun, fitness and friendship! Contact cathcoutts@hotmail.co.uk or 01592 651370.
  
• Kirkcaldy Photographic Society - A friendly local club where you can improve your photography via guest lectures, club competitions for novices and advanced workers, photographic days out to great locations and 'fun' nights.
• Dysart Sticky Fingers Baby & Toddler Group - Tuesdays (term time) 10.00am-11.40am at Dysart Community Hall, West Port, Dysart, KY1 2TD. For children of pre-school age. No booking. Free play, snacks, songtime and adult company! Contact Sharon_sullivan@hotmail.co.uk or tel 07841 695133.
